🔡 IAST Transliteration

yaj jñātvā na punar moham evaṁ yāsyasi pāṇḍava
yena bhūtāny aśeṣeṇa drakṣyasy ātmany atho mayi

🇬🇧 English Translation

O Pandava! Having known this knowledge, you shall never again fall into such delusion, and by it, you will see all beings completely within your self and also within Me.

✨ Detailed English Explanation

Krishna here reveals the ultimate outcome of spiritual wisdom. Arjuna is in a state of confusion on the battlefield, torn between his duties and his emotions. Krishna promises that upon realizing this divine knowledge:

  • You will never again fall into the trap of ignorance and delusion. Your mind will remain clear, steady, and at peace.

  • You will gain the vision of unity — perceiving all living beings as part of yourself. This eliminates prejudice, hatred, and division.

  • You will see that your self (ātman) is also part of the Supreme Self (Paramātman). This is the essence of Advaita (non-dual vision), where God is seen in all, and all are seen in God.

Such perception is not merely intellectual; it transforms how we live. It leads to compassion, selflessness, and harmony with the world. This verse is essentially Krishna’s assurance: “Once you know the truth, you cannot be fooled by illusion again.”

Life Lessons

In English:

  • True wisdom permanently destroys delusion.

  • Seeing all beings within yourself and within God removes discrimination.

  • The non-dual vision fosters peace and universal love.

  • Self-realization transforms life forever.

🏁 Conclusion

This verse is Krishna’s powerful promise: divine knowledge is a one-time transformation. Once attained, it ends confusion, reveals the unity of existence, and aligns your perception with eternal truth. From that moment, life is no longer driven by illusion but illuminated by the light of the Self.
