🇬🇧 English Translation
The Blessed Lord said:
O Arjuna, neither the study of the Vedas, nor austere penances, nor charity, nor any other religious act
can grant one the vision of this cosmic form.
Yet you have seen it by My divine grace and your yogic devotion.
(Deep Hindi Explanation)
🧠 Detailed English Explanation
Verse 53 emphasizes the limitations of rituals and knowledge in perceiving the divine cosmic form:
“Neither by Vedas, austere penance, charity, nor other religious acts” — highlights that ordinary spiritual practices alone cannot grant this vision.
“Yet you have seen it” — illustrates that divine grace and yogic readiness enable the experience.
This teaches that spiritual realization often transcends formal rituals and depends on devotion and God’s blessing.
