"The Exact Moment God Decides to Appear on Earth — Krishna’s Timeless Promise!"

Sanskrit Shloka

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदाऽअत्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥

IAST Transliteration

yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata
abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmy aham

Hindi Translation

हे भारत (अर्जुन)! जब-जब धर्म की हानि और अधर्म की वृद्धि होती है, तब-तब मैं अपने स्वरूप को प्रकट करता हूँ।

English Translation

O descendant of Bharata, whenever there is a decline in righteousness and a rise of unrighteousness, at that time I manifest Myself.

Detailed Explanation in English

This verse defines the divine law of incarnation. Lord Krishna declares that whenever righteousness declines and unrighteousness rises, He personally appears in the world.

Here, “dharma” does not mean mere religious rituals, but the universal principles of truth, justice, compassion, and duty. When these values are ignored or destroyed, and corruption, cruelty, and chaos dominate, the balance of creation is disturbed.

At such times, the Lord descends to restore order, not as a passive observer, but as an active participant in the cosmic drama.

Life Lessons

  1. God intervenes when needed — Divine help comes when the moral order is at risk.

  2. Dharma is universal — It goes beyond religion into justice and truth.

  3. Evil has limits — Darkness cannot overpower light forever.

  4. We must be vigilant — Standing for dharma is our duty before God needs to act.

Conclusion

यह श्लोक हमें आश्वासन देता है कि चाहे दुनिया में अन्याय कितना भी बढ़ जाए, अंततः धर्म की ही विजय होगी। भगवान का अवतरण एक दिव्य गारंटी है कि सत्य और न्याय कभी स्थायी रूप से पराजित नहीं हो सकते।

Lord Krishna’s promise here is timeless — in every age, in every land, when the moral fabric is torn, the Divine will appear to set things right. This is the eternal hope for humanity.

"The Mystery of God’s Birth: How Krishna Appears in the World Without Being Born!"

Sanskrit Shloka

अजोऽपि सन्नव्ययात्मा भूतानामीश्वरोऽपि सन् ।
प्रकृतिं स्वामधिष्ठाय सम्भवाम्यात्ममायया ॥

IAST Transliteration

ajo’pi sann avyayātmā bhūtānām īśvaro’pi san
prakṛtiṁ svām adhiṣṭhāya sambhavāmy ātma-māyayā

Hindi Translation

यद्यपि मैं अजन्मा हूँ, अविनाशी आत्मा हूँ और सभी प्राणियों का ईश्वर हूँ, फिर भी मैं अपनी प्रकृति को अधिष्ठित करके अपनी योगमाया से प्रकट होता हूँ।

English Translation

Although I am unborn, imperishable, and the Lord of all beings, I appear by controlling My own material energy, through My own divine power.

Detailed Explanation in English

In this verse, Lord Krishna reveals the secret of His incarnations. He is ajo — unborn, without beginning or end. He is avyayātmā — the imperishable Self, never subject to decay. He is the supreme īśvara — the controller and master of all beings.

Yet, despite being beyond birth and death, He chooses to manifest in the material world. This manifestation is not like the ordinary birth of living beings, which is bound by karma. Krishna’s appearance is by His ātma-māyā — His own divine potency — and is completely under His control.

This means that the Lord’s descent into the world is an act of will and compassion, not compulsion. He remains untouched by material nature, even while appearing within it.

Life Lessons

  1. God is beyond time — The Divine exists without birth or death.

  2. Incarnation is voluntary — The Lord appears out of compassion, not necessity.

  3. Divine control over nature — God is never bound by the material energy.

  4. Avatars are unique — They are not ordinary births but conscious descents.

Conclusion

यह श्लोक हमें सिखाता है कि भगवान का अवतार कोई साधारण घटना नहीं है। वे समय और जन्म के बंधन से परे हैं, फिर भी जब धर्म की रक्षा और अधर्म का नाश आवश्यक हो, तब वे अपनी योगमाया से प्रकट होते हैं।

Lord Krishna’s statement here lays the foundation for one of the most important teachings in the Gita — the purpose of divine incarnation. It invites us to see the appearance of the Lord not as a limitation, but as the highest expression of divine freedom and love.
