⚔️ मोह के वृक्ष को काटो: वैराग्य ही मुक्ति का शस्त्र – भगवद्गीता अध्याय 15 श्लोक 3 का गूढ़ संदेश

📜 संस्कृत श्लोक (Devanagari)

न रूपमस्येह तथोपलभ्यते
नान्तो न चादिर्न च संप्रतिष्ठा ।
अश्वत्थमेनं सुविरूढमूलम्
असङ्गशस्त्रेण दृढेन छित्त्वा ॥3॥

🔤 IAST Transliteration

na rūpam asyeha tathopalabhyate
nānto na cādir na ca sampratiṣṭhā |
aśvattham enaṁ su-virūḍha-mūlam
asaṅga-śastreṇa dṛḍhena chittvā ||3||

🇮🇳 हिंदी अनुवाद

इस संसार रूपी अश्वत्थ वृक्ष का वास्तविक स्वरूप यहाँ वैसा नहीं समझ में आता,
न इसका अंत ज्ञात होता है, न आदि, न ही इसकी ठोस स्थिति।
इस गहराई तक जड़ें जमाए हुए अश्वत्थ वृक्ष को
असंग रूपी दृढ़ शस्त्र से काट देना चाहिए।

🇬🇧 English Translation

Its true form is not perceived here—neither its end, nor its beginning, nor its foundation is seen.
This deeply rooted Ashvattha tree should be cut down
with the strong weapon of detachment.

🕉️ विस्तृत हिंदी व्याख्या (Detailed Hindi Explanation)

🌍 Detailed English Explanation

In Verse 3, Krishna provides the solution to the problem explained earlier.

🔍 The World’s True Nature Is Hidden

The material world:

  • Appears real

  • Feels permanent

  • Seems meaningful

Yet its true nature cannot be grasped by senses alone.

⏳ No Beginning, No End, No Foundation

This world has:

  • No visible origin

  • No clear destination

  • No stable ground

It constantly changes, deceiving the soul.

🌳 Deeply Rooted Tree

The Ashvattha tree is deeply rooted because:

  • Desire feeds it

  • Attachment strengthens it

  • Ego sustains it

Superficial renunciation doesn’t work.

⚔️ Detachment — The Only Weapon

Krishna clearly states:

Cut it with the strong weapon of detachment.

Detachment does not mean:

  • Inaction

  • Escapism

It means:

  • Acting without clinging

  • Living without bondage

🧠 Core Teaching

Freedom is not achieved by changing circumstances,
but by changing attachment.

🌱 जीवन के महत्वपूर्ण पाठ (Life Lessons)

🇮🇳 हिंदी में जीवन सीख

  1. संसार भ्रम है, सत्य नहीं

  2. आसक्ति ही बंधन की जड़ है

  3. त्याग बाहरी नहीं, आंतरिक होना चाहिए

  4. असंग ही सबसे बड़ा शस्त्र है

🇬🇧 Life Lessons in English

  1. The world hides its true nature

  2. Attachment creates bondage

  3. Renunciation must be internal

  4. Detachment is the weapon of liberation

🧘 निष्कर्ष (Conclusion)

🌟 Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7, Verse 23 (Jnana Vijnana Yoga) – “Why Worship of Gods Gives Limited Results – The Eternal Path of Devotion Revealed!” 🌟

🔹 Sanskrit Shloka (भगवद् गीता 7.23)

अन्तवत्तु फलं तेषां तद्भवत्यल्पमेधसाम्।
देवान् देवयजो यान्ति मद्भक्ता यान्ति मामपि॥

🔹 IAST Transliteration

antavat tu phalaṁ teṣāṁ tad bhavaty alpa-medhasām।
devān deva-yajo yānti mad-bhaktā yānti mām api॥

🔹 Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)

उन (देवताओं की पूजा करने वालों) का फल नश्वर होता है, क्योंकि वे अल्प बुद्धि वाले हैं। देवताओं की उपासना करने वाले देवताओं को प्राप्त होते हैं, और मेरे भक्त अंततः मुझको प्राप्त होते हैं।

🔹 English Translation

The fruits gained by those of small understanding are temporary. Worshippers of the gods go to the gods, but My devotees come to Me.

🌼 Detailed English Explanation

In this verse, Lord Krishna reveals the difference between temporary worship and eternal devotion. He explains that those who worship various deities do receive rewards—but such rewards are short-lived, bound by time and the cycle of birth and death.

The phrase “antavat tu phalaṁ teṣām” means “the fruits they gain are perishable.” These material benefits, such as wealth, success, or pleasure, do not last forever. Hence, Krishna refers to them as “alpa-medhasām”—people of limited understanding—because they seek fleeting pleasures instead of eternal truth.

“Devān deva-yajo yānti” — those who worship gods reach the abodes of those gods. However, these celestial realms are still within the cycle of material existence.
“Mad-bhaktā yānti mām api” — Krishna’s devotees, on the other hand, transcend all realms and attain Him directly — the Supreme, eternal abode of peace and liberation.

This verse teaches the ultimate distinction between relative and absolute devotion. While desire-based worship leads to temporary results, selfless devotion to the Supreme Lord leads to moksha — liberation and union with God.

Therefore, Krishna invites every seeker to rise above material desires and practice pure bhakti — devotion without expectation, directed only toward the Eternal Divine.

💫 Life Lessons / Moral Teachings (जीवन से सीखें)

In English:

  1. Desire-driven worship yields temporary gains; pure devotion brings eternal bliss.

  2. Worship of deities grants limited happiness, while devotion to the Supreme leads to liberation.

  3. Those of small understanding chase short-term benefits; the wise seek the eternal.

  4. True devotion is unconditional love toward God, free from material desires.

  5. The devotee of the Supreme Lord transcends mortality and attains eternal peace.

🪔 Conclusion (निष्कर्ष)

इस श्लोक में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण स्पष्ट रूप से बताते हैं कि देवताओं की पूजा करने वाले भले ही अपने इच्छित फल प्राप्त कर लें, लेकिन वे फल नश्वर हैं। सच्चा और स्थायी लाभ केवल परमेश्वर की भक्ति से ही संभव है।

True spirituality lies not in the pursuit of temporary rewards but in surrendering to the Supreme Lord. The devotee who offers his heart to God, free of selfish motives, attains the highest destination — eternal union with the Divine.
